The North East Open kicks off on July 30th. Entries for all events close on Wednesday 20th July 2011 at
6pm. Each competitor may enter a maximum of 3 events: 2 singles & 1 doubles or 1 singles & 2 doubles.
The draw will take place on Monday 25th July. The order of play will be displayed in the clubhouse and
on the website from Wednesday 27th July 2011. Alternatively times may be obtained by telephoning
041 9827713 between 1pm – 5pm from that date.

Please note the following:

Play will commence at 9am each day or at such times as the tournament committee may decide. All
competitors must be available to play on the Saturday and Sunday without fail.

It is the duty of the competitors to acquaint themselves with the times at which they are scheduled to
play. Competitors not present when called to play will be disqualified.

Matches will be the best of 3 tie-break sets. The initial rounds of these Under 10 events will be played
on Thursday 4th August on a Round-Robin basis and to a shortened match format up to the semi-final
stage.

Recognised tennis attire must be worn.

Telephone entries will not be accepted.

The qualifying date for each event requires that the entrant be under the stipulated age on the 31st
December 2010..

Entry fees must be paid in full before you play your first match and must be included with your
completed entry form. Late payment will not be accepted.

The decision of the tournament referee or his authorised deputies will be final in all matters pertaining
to the championships.
